Intermediate scrambling

Our intermediate mountain scrambling course moves onto ground where a rope is required to safeguard group members. During the course you will cover exposed technical rocky ground on your way to the summit of Snowdonia’s highest peaks. The course is also useful for anyone working towards a Mountaineering Instructors Award, (MIA).

By the end of the course you will have an understanding of the requirements for roped mountain scrambling.

Before attending the course you should have experience of mountain walking with simple scrambling or rock climbing. The course is open to anyone aged 18yrs and over. Being in good physical shape will allow you to maximise your time on the course.

Instructors are hired on a daily basis allowing you to choose the length of course you require. The minimum course duration consists of 1 day and costs £175 at a ratio of 1 instructor to 3 clients.
