Summer Mountain Walking

Our summer mountain walking course covers the skills needed to travel safely in the mountains. The course is based in Snowdonia so expect to be tackling some of the biggest mountains in Wales from Snowdon and the Glyders to Tryfan and the Carneddau.

During the course you will be looked after by a qualified mountaineering instructor who will guide you along and make sure everything runs smoothly. You will have opportunities to learn new techniques and skills which can be transferred to other mountainous areas. By the end of the course you should have a better understanding of mountain walking and a desire to progress to the next level. The course is also useful for anyone who is working towards a Summer Mountain Leader qualification.

No previous experience is necessary. The course is open to anyone aged from 12yrs and upwards. Being in good physical shape will allow you to maximise your time on the course.
Instructors are hired on a daily basis allowing you to choose the length of course you require. The minimum course duration consists of 1 day and costs £175 at a ratio of 1 instructor to 10 clients.
